Weekly Results - Form Organization
Results Entered for...: The statement in the top left corner of the form tells you how many teams you have entered the scores for. Scores cannot be processed until the all the results are entered for all the teams.
Results for Week...: The statement in top right hand corner tells you which week you are entering scores for. You can use the combo box to change the week number. If the week number is for the current week you will be able to enter the results in the spreadsheet and the Print Form button will appear at the bottom of the screen. If the week number is for a week for which scores have already been entered and processed, you will be able to view the previously entered results on the screen and the Print Results button will appear at the bottom of the screen. You cannot use this screen to modify results entered for past weeks. You can edit results for past weeks by restoring a backup (recommended) or by using the Raw Score or Statistics Editors.. Results displayed for prior weeks will display the number of points won in place of the average in the spreadsheet. If, for some reason, you need to display the recap sheet for a prior week with the averages for that week, then you should restore the backup for that week. After the backup is restored the recap sheets will now have the averages for that week displayed instead of the number of points won.
Team Selection: The drop down list box on the top left has the name of the team you will enter scores for.
Forfeit: If the team forfeited, you will put a check in this box.
Incomplete...: Just above the team selection list box is a check box to indicate if there were any incomplete sets (frames in bowling) for this team this week.
Lane...: The court (lane in bowling) this team was supposed to play on is listed just to the right of the incomplete check box.
Opposing Team: On the right side of the form is another box that has the name of the team that opposed the team you are entering scores for.
Opponent Button: Just above the opposing team name is a button labeled "Opponent" and the lane this team was supposed to play on.
Date: In the top center of the screen is a text box labeled "Date". You can enter the date that the league actually played here and this date will be used when the standing sheet is printed. Enter the date using the format MM/DD/YY. For example, enter 11/23/10 for November 23, 2010. Today's date is filled in by default if you do not enter a date.
Spreadsheet: Below the boxes with the team names is a spreadsheet that should resemble the scoring sheets that you filled out at the competition site. This is where you will enter the scores and extra statistics.
Buttons: Below the spreadsheet are the OK, Print Form or Print Results, and Cancel buttons. If you have the registered version of the program you can also set up and print blank data entry forms for use at your competition site with the Print Form button or completed recap sheets with the results for past weeks with the Print Results button.
