Split Season - Sessions

The two lines at the top of the form give some current information about your league to guide you in setting up the split sessions. The last week that scores were entered and processed for, the number of weeks to play and the current session number are on the first line. On the second line is the week numbers for the position weeks you have specified. At the bottom of the form are the OK and Cancel buttons. In between these buttons is a text box that indicates the number of sessions you have defined. If you have tool tips turned on, they will appear below the data entry section as you move your mouse around the form.

Your league can have from 1 to 12 sessions. The first session always starts with the first week of competition and continues until a split occurs. The data for the first session cannot be edited. If you have only one session the data for the second session will be a number that is one greater than the number of weeks you are playing. You create additional sessions by entering a lower number in the text box. You will not be able to edit the data for the sessions already completed or the current one that is in progress. You also will not be able to edit the data for session 3 until you create session 2 or session 4 before you create session 3. When you enter the split week number for session two you will be allowed to enter the number for session 3. When you enter the number for session three you will be allowed to enter the number for session 4. The week number for each session cannot be lower than or equal to the number of any prior session. For example if the second session starts at week 10 then the third session cannot start at week 5 but it could start at week 20.

If the season is split, you will need to enter the week number that will be the start of each session. Don't forget to include any position weeks you want to have between splits in the count of the weeks for the session before the split. For your convenience the position weeks you have specified are listed at the top of the form. It is not necessary to have a position week at each split. For example you could have monthly splits but only have a position week at mid-season.
