Roving Substitute Players

A roving substitute is a regular member of a team who substitutes for a player on another team. This can happen where a team has more members than the number that play each week. Consider this example. A team has 4 members but only 3 play each week. All 4 members show up to play. Another team has only 2 members show up. One of the extra players subs on the team with only 2 members. This is a roving sub. The program is setup to automatically handle roving subs. You select a roving sub by setting the type of player to a roving sub on the weekly data entry spreadsheet. If you indicate that a roving sub played, you will also pick the name of the regular league member who played as a roving sub. The scores for the roving sub are entered as normal.
