Weekly Results - Incomplete Sets
If there are any incomplete sets (frames in bowling) for this team this week then put a check in the check box above the team name. You will have players with incomplete sets if someone arrives late and does not play the first game or two or if a player is injured and cannot complete the remaining game. Suppose in bowling a player who has an average of 165 arrives late and is able to play the second and third game but did not play the first game. If your normal absentee score is average minus 10 you will want to enter a 155 for the first game for this player but you do not want to credit the player with this score since it was not played. The frames are incomplete. You will put a check in the incomplete frames check box. To the right of each Game Score column in the spreadsheet is a check box. A check in this box means that there were incomplete frames for that game. Games with incomplete sets will be used for computing wins and losses but scores (pins in bowling) played will not be credited to the team unless you specified that you want to credit the team with unearned scores. For the bowling example given you would want to mark the first game with the score of 155 as incomplete by putting a check mark in the column to the right of the score.

Another use of the incomplete sets (frame) option is to mark games that are pre-played or post-played that you want to use to determine wins and losses but that you don't want to credit the team with the scores played.
