Scoring - Handicapping Tab

Handicap Percentage?
Enter the percent (1 to 100) to be used in the above formula to compute the handicap.

Maximum Handicap
Enter the maximum handicap. No handicaps greater than this number will be allowed.

Vacancy Score?
Enter the score to be used for a vacancy in the team roster. A vacancy occurs when the league does not have enough players to fill each team completely. For example, if each team is supposed to have three players but the number of players is such that one of the teams will only have two players, there will be a vacancy player on the team with only two players. The vacancy score will be used for each game for the vacancy player.

Absentee Score?
Normally you will enter the number of scores (pins in bowling) to be subtracted from the player's average if the player is absent and a substitute does not play. The player's average minus this number of scores (pins in bowling) will be used for each game for the absentee player. The default number of scores (pins in bowling) to subtract is 10.

If you checked the option to use a percentage for the absentee score then you will enter the percentage (0 to 100%) of the player's average to be subtracted from the player's average if the player is absent. For example in bowling, if the player's average is 150 and you enter 10%, then 15 pins (150 * 10/100) will be subtracted.
