Reports Menu - Weekly Standing Sheet
This is the report you will run most frequently to report the current standings and results to your league. You have three choices.
The standard, full standing sheet with all the results and awards. This report may extend to more than one page on your printer.
A customized version of the full standing sheet. This is the same as the full standing sheet but you are able to customize it by selecting which sections of the report you want printed. Your customization selections are saved with your league data so that you can run this report again without remembering the selections you made the last time you ran it.
A condensed version of that standing sheet that packs the information most leagues want to see as a one page summary. It is possible that this condensed version may also extend to more than one page for large leagues or if you specify extensive reporting for the awards
All choices can list the position of each team in the standings. The standings are determined by the games won. If the games won is a tie, the standing is determined by either the total scratch scores (pins in bowling) or the total handicap scores (pins in bowling). You made this choice on the "Scoring Options" form selected from the "Edit" menu. The names of the league officers and the courts or lanes they are playing on next week are listed. The competition schedule for the next week is listed. If you compose a bulletin before you run the report, it will be included on the report. The top awards in each category and class are listed on the report. If your league is small this report will probably be only one printed page. If the report is just slightly more than one page you may be able to reduce it to one page by eliminating or shortening the weekly bulletin, or by reducing the number of awards listed ("Award Options" on the "Setup" menu). You can further customize your report for your printer by
These are the check boxes which can appear on this form depending on the options you select.
Exclude Extra Stats: This appears when the standard, full standing sheet is selected. Excluding the extra statistics can shorten the report, especially if you have many extra statistics.
Small Font: This appears if you are viewing the report on the screen. A check mark in this box will reduce the font size on the screen. This will enable you to view some of the wider reports without scrolling from left to right.
Bold: This appears if you are sending the report to your printer. A check mark in this box will print the entire report with a bold font.
Margin: This also appears if you are sending the report to your printer. A check mark will create the report with standard margins. Removing the check mark will create the report using the entire printable page area on your printer.
The following option and check boxes will only appear for the customized full standing sheet.
Exclude League Name: Exclude the name of the league from the report.
Exclude Officer Names: Exclude the listing of the league officers from the report
Exclude Team Standings: The team standings will not be included on the report.
Exclude League Average: The overall league average will be excluded from the report.
Exclude Next Week Schedule: The schedule for the next week of competition will not be on the report.
Exclude Standard Awards: The standard awards section will not be on the report.
Exclude Extra Stat Awards: The awards for extra statistics will not be on the report.
For the last two check boxes you also have the option to reduce the number of top awards listed on the report.
