File Menu - Export
This is the eight selection on the File menu. It is only active in the registered version of the program. When you select this item you will next need to select whether you want to export raw scoring data or averages. If you select averages then you will need to select whether you want to export averages for players only, players and subs, or teams only.

RAW SCORING DATA: Select this option to create a comma delimited text file with the raw scoring data for all the weeks up to the current week. The first row of this file has a label for each column in the file. The data in this export file can be easily imported into a spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel. This is a CSV file with each data item separated by a comma. Each row of data in the file has the following data items:
  • Session no.
  • Week no.
  • Team Name
  • Opposing Team Name
  • Player Name
  • Award Category (most often Male or Female)
  • Handicap
  • Session Average (although the program stores the handicap for each game, it does not store the average so the current average for the session is provided)
  • Points Won
  • Player Type (Regular, Absent, etc,)
  • Scores for each game and whether those scores were credited (Yes or No)

AVERAGES: Select this option to create a comma delimited text file with the current averages for all players, players and subs, or teams. If the season is over, this will be a file of the final averages. When you select this item you will be asked for a league code. This is a unique code given to many leagues when they are sanctioned. If you don't have such a code you can leave it blank. The file created will have the same name as the league data file with the first character replaced by a dollar sign ($), the second character will be 1 (players only), 2 (players and subs), or 3 (teams only). The file extension will be CSV. For instance if your league file name is HIROLLER, then the file name for the averages for players only will be $1ROLLER.CSV. This file is a text file and it can be opened with any spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel. The data file contains four columns and multiple rows.

    The rows are:

    Row 1. The league code
    Row 2. The secretary's name
Row 3. The secretary's phone number
    Row 4. Blank
    Row 5. Column headers
Row 6 and higher. The average data.

    The data columns are:

    Column 1. The player's name
Column 2. The number of games played
    Column 3. The total pinfall
    Column 4. The computed average
